The short version

Everything you enter — balances, bills, goals, loans, expenses, and income — belongs entirely to you. We claim no licence, ownership, or right to use any of it, and we could not use it if we wanted to: it never reaches us. See the privacy policy.

Bujji connects to no bank and can verify nothing. Every balance, total, and summary it shows is worked out from what you entered by hand.

In particular, Spent counts only what you chose to log. It is not a complete record of your spending, and the app says so wherever it appears. Do not rely on any figure in the app as an authoritative statement of your finances — your bank's records are authoritative, and this is not those.

The app holds no exchange rate and converts nothing. Amounts in different currencies are shown separately and are never added together, so no figure in the app is a conversion of another one.

Downloading Bujji grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service, Google Play's terms, and the applicable standard end-user licence agreement.

You may not:

• ·Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or rent the app
• ·Reverse-engineer, decompile, or derive the source code
• ·Remove or alter any copyright or attribution notice
• ·Reuse the name, the characters, the artwork, or the copy in another product

The pictures and clips offered on the lifetime challenge page are the exception, and only for what that page describes: you may post them, with or without your own edit, when writing about Bujji.

Bujji keeps your records on your device and nowhere else. We hold no copy and cannot recover anything for you — not a deleted goal, not a wiped device, not an uninstalled app.

Keep your own. Menu → Your data → Export my data exists for exactly this, and is worth using now and then. Delete everything in the same menu is immediate and permanent.

Morning reminders are local notifications scheduled by your phone. Whether one actually appears depends on your operating system, your notification settings, battery-saver modes, and whether the app has been allowed to schedule them.

A missed notification is not our liability, and the app alone should not be what stands between you and a late payment.

Bujji needs a Pro purchase to use. It is sold monthly, yearly, or once for life, and a yearly plan may be offered with a free trial at the start — the price and the terms of each are shown in the app before you buy, by the store itself.

Any purchase is processed by the App Store or Google Play, never by us, and refunds are handled under their policies. For Apple, ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. A subscription renews until you cancel it, which is done in your store account rather than in the app.

There is also a way to be given the app for nothing, and its rules are the four steps on the lifetime challenge page: post about Bujji, reach 10,000 views, and send us the link. One unlock per person, and the post has to be yours.

Future updates are provided at the developer's discretion. We intend to keep improving the app, and no specific future feature is promised.

Use the app lawfully and on a device you control. Do not use it to record or facilitate anything illegal, and do not attempt to interfere with, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the app or to another person's copy of it.

Bujji is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of miscalculation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for any loss of data, missed payment, overdraft, fee, interest charge, or financial loss arising from use of the app or from reliance on anything it displays. Nothing here limits rights you hold under the consumer law of your country that cannot be waived by agreement.

These terms may be updated. The current version always appears on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
